Who is Mark?

Mark is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Adult Health Nurse Practitioner. He provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy to all individuals.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and master’s degree in Nursing from The Ohio State University. He has specialized training in managing mental health and psychiatric medications with HIV and other medical issues.

He strives to provide an affirming care that is non-judgmental, open, and honest to create an environment for patients to express safely express themselves. We will take the time and work with you to give you the tools you need to be successful. This may be through a combination medications, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other approaches depending on your specific needs.

Mark believes that it is important to recognize and address the issues of racism , transphobia, and inequality that create and compound mental health issues. Without working to dismantle systemic racism, we cannot have mental health recovery especially for Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and all people of color.

His areas of expertise include ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, substance use including medication assisted therapy (buprenorphine).

He often works with folx that identify as LGBTQIA+ and has many years of experience working with trans, non-binary, gender fluid, and folx currently transitioning. He also frequently works with many straight and cis women and men who identify as an ally.

Other relevant issues may include immigration, non-monogomy, poly, religious trauma, sex-work, sexual trauma.


Accessible care.

Our goal is to make very high-quality psychiatric care as accessible as possible. We have both early morning and evening hours. We accept several major insurance plans. Our self-pay fees are fair and reasonable.
